About the Convention

Now in its 116th year, the NCTE Annual Convention is the signature event for English and language arts teachers and educators in the United States. This multiple-award-winning gathering attracts educators from preK through graduate level, covering a wide span of topics in English, language, writing, and literacy studies. The event also engages the national publishing community, featuring a large exhibit hall and presentations by more than 250 authors each year.
