Classroom Idea Exchange

NCTE is reintroducing the Classroom Idea Exchange to the Annual Convention and wants you to be a part of this exciting activity!

New classroom teachers, experienced teachers, and those preparing to become teachers are all hungry for teaching ideas and love to share! The Classroom Idea Exchange is an opportunity for teachers to

• share what engages their students in their classrooms;
• collaborate with classroom teacher colleagues across levels (elementary, middle, high school, and college);
• build and expand professional networks; and
• walk away with concrete and easily integrated teaching ideas whether in activities, assignments, or classroom planning.

Presenters will make five-minute presentations where they share a specific lesson, activity, or assignment. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and will leave with practical resources to support implementing these new ideas the following day, week, or term. The NCTE Classroom Idea Exchange centers teacher expertise and facilitates the inspiring and affirming synergistic exchange of ideas that is the hallmark of our vibrant professional community.

The Classroom Idea Exchange will take place on Sunday morning (November 19) during the Annual Convention.
