Dave Eggers is the author of many books for readers of all ages, including The Eyes and the Impossible, The Lifters, and Soren’s Seventh Song. His books for adults include Contrapposto, The Circle, The Every, What Is the What, and A Hologram for the King, a finalist for the National Book Award. He is the cofounder of 826 Valencia, a writing center for young people that has inspired similar organizations around the world. In 2025, Eggers opened the International Library of Young Authors, home to thousands of books written by young people from all over the planet.
