Announcements May 7, 2026

We’re already getting excited about the 2026 NCTE Annual Convention in Philadelphia this November!

The NCTE staff is hard at work scheduling the backbone of the Convention: the more than 1,000 onsite professional learning sessions that cater to educators at every level.

Presenters were notified of their proposal status in April and will receive scheduling and other information this summer.

Still, presenters who are now part of the Convention roster may be wondering: What’s next?

For starters, now is the perfect time to register for the 2026 Annual Convention in Philadelphia. NCTE is offering fallback pricing until June 15, which means you can register for the 2026 Convention at 2025 rates. But don’t delay—prices will increase to 2026 levels after June 15.

As you plan your trip, please note that details on housing will be available later this spring. Once you register, you’ll start getting Convention updates delivered straight to your inbox. Housing updates will also be posted on this website as soon as they are available. In the meantime, visit our Hotel and Travel page to find information about getting to and around Philadelphia, including public transportation options.

Presentation Resources

November may seem far away, but we all know how quickly time can slip by. Don’t leave your preparations for the last minute! NCTE has compiled resources to support in-person and poster presentations at the 2026 Annual Convention, including information about onsite audio-visual needs, poster requirements, and presentation best practices.

We’ve also put together guidance for moderators and workshop leaders. From tips on engaging the audience and keeping the discussion flowing to tricks for content delivery and using slides and other materials, our guides can help you lead a lively and beneficial session.

Finally, access your digital badge to share your participation at the 2026 Annual Convention with the world!

NCTE has created a series of digital badges inspired by this year’s “Imagine. Innovate. Inspire.” theme featuring our 2026 lightbulb design and the NCTE logo. Whether you’re presenting a session or poster, moderating, or attending, there’s a badge for that.

Find all four badges at the bottom of each of the presenter pages. Then download and post a badge on your social profiles. Don’t forget to include the #NCTE26 tag!

NCTE is looking forward to four transformative days of inspiration, innovation, and connection at the 2026 Annual Convention.
We can’t wait to see you—and learn from you—in Philadelphia this November!

Remember: Register by June 15 to secure the best pricing for #NCTE26!
